The young midfielder Zico Bailey is leaving FC Helsingør with immediate effect and returning to the USA.
Sporting director Brian Gellert:
Zico is a good technical player, who in the long run we could well have seen play a role on FC Helsingør’s first team. Like several of the other young players, he has suffered from our team performing as well as it has, and from the competition in midfield being extremely fierce.
Zico has received an offer from an American club, where he will probably be able to get closer to playing time than he has been able to here in Helsingør, and has expressed a wish to return home to the USA. As a club, we have not wanted to stand in the way of that. We wish Zico the best of luck in his career, and thank him for his time at FCH.
Zico Bailey made no first-team appearances for FC Helsingør.
