FC Helsingør has secured the signature of young Frederik Enggaard Jensen.

The goalkeeper, who can usually be found on the talent academy's U15 team, has now secured a deal with FC Helsingør.

Fine performances and great development potential mean that 15-year-old Frederik Enggaard Jensen now receives his first contract. The contract includes an action plan for his continued schooling, which of course still has first priority.
But it is also with a fair amount of pride and joy that Frederik and the club have now put pen to paper.

“I am of course aiming to become a professional, and my goal is to play in the first team here at the club. I love the togetherness and the competition on the team, and I can see that I am continuing to develop.”

Even though there is a lot of competition in an elite environment, it is not something that means much to young Frederik Enggaard.

“I thrive at the academy and have a really good relationship with my teammates. Everyone wants the best for each other, and if you are not called up for the first squad right away, then it is just a matter of working hard. The chance will come.”

Frederik has indeed seized the chance with both hands, as after the summer break he will turn out for the academy's U17 team.

We look forward to following Frederik's development even more closely and of course hope to see him run onto the pitch for the first team in the not too distant future.
