T+Coach Rene Lybek Hansen is responsible for coordination between the many parent and partner clubs in FC Helsingør, and he looks back on a very intense and busy period since his appointment in June 2016, during which the FC Helsingør cooperation has grown considerably.
– There are many positive things happening at FC Helsingør. Over the past year, FC Helsingør has gone from being an umbrella organization for 8 local clubs; Snekkersten IF, Espergærde IF, Helsingør IF, Frem Hellebæk IF, Hornbæk IF, Helsingør FC and Vapnagaard FK, to being an umbrella organization and a club that the entire municipality and region now strongly support. To date, we have a total of 16 partner clubs, of which 11 are actual parent clubs, and we are very proud that we have succeeded to such a degree in gaining local support for the FCH project.
Among others, we have brought Tikøb IF, Kvistgård IF, Gurre IK and most recently Borsholm-Skibstrup IF in as parent clubs, and in addition we have established collaborations with KBK Hillerød, Nødebo IF, IS Skævinge Fodbold, Fredensborg B&I and Gilleleje FK. So FC Helsingør now stands very strong in the region and municipality. All in all, FC Helsingør Talent and our partner and parent clubs have a combined talent pool of as many as 3.400 players in the age groups U7-U19, which provides a fantastic foundation for further developing our daily talent work. This would be completely impossible without close dialogue and daily cooperation with the clubs around us.
Whether one is a parent club or partner club, one has for example an FCH consultant at one’s disposal. Something we have put in place to be close to our clubs, and ensure closeness and close dialogue about everyday life, while also ensuring joint development for both grassroots and elite. In addition, approximately every 3 month we have a partner and parent club council where we gather and talk about how we jointly ensure development in our sporting cooperation, based on the thesis: “the cooperation goes both ways”. Everyone must feel they get something out of the cooperation, and that it makes sense for all parties.
The FC Helsingør shirts that all the clubs have received for hanging up are the visible symbol in everyday life of the cooperation we are all part of, and it is great to see the FC Helsingør shirt hanging in virtually all the clubs around the region.
