Daniel K. Pedersen is the new interim head coach at FC Helsingør.

The man who will temporarily take over the coaching job from Morten Eskesen is Daniel K. Pedersen. Daniel has been at FC Helsingør for a little over 5 years, where he has been U17 coach, U19 coach and served as head of coaching in the entire youth department from U14 to U19.

Daniel was in charge of the 1. team’s training for the first time today. Daniel says this about the training: “The training went fine. It was a short and efficient training, and a program had been laid out. The players looked sharp in many situations and it seems they are looking forward to tomorrow.”

Daniel has only known about the news for less than 24 hours and therefore has not made big plans. For now, the plans Morten Eskesen and Mikkel Thygesen have made during the break will be followed until Daniel has had proper time to settle into the role.

Already tomorrow, Daniel will be in charge of the team’s first training match against FC Nordsjælland, where Daniel also has a past. He himself notes that it will be “special and fun” to return to Farum.

Work to recruit a new head coach has begun, and we hope to be able to present our future head coach within the coming weeks.
