For the second year in a row, FC Helsingør's U19 team qualified for the semifinal in the youth cup competition. The victory was taken against HB Køge on HB Køge's home ground in Køge.
In regular time, FCH started with the upper hand in the first half, but without scoring, while HB Køge came much more into the game in the second half. It was also the home team that scored first, but shortly after FCH's Nicolas Willumsen made it 1-1 after a good setup from Tobias Christiansen.
The match ended in a draw, and the teams went straight to a penalty shootout. There Mathias ”Mac” Christensen, Anosike Ementa and Willam Arnesen scored on their attempts, while Christoffer Monty saved three out of four attempts from HB Køge's takers.
This meant that Mark Thevi's squad advanced from the quarterfinal for the second season in a row, a remarkable result for an U-team from a 2. Division club.
The opponent in the semifinal will be found when the remaining quarterfinal matches have been played during March.
