The first half was a physical affair, with a fair amount of duels and not many established attacks from either team. There were scattered chances for, among others, Patrick Olsen after a set piece, and Lucas Haren after a fine move through the middle, but nothing that led to anything major.

We therefore had to wait until the 37. minute before FCH broke the deadlock. A fine diagonal ball was played all the way from the defense and up to Lucas Haren, who was out on the right side. He beat his man and put in a low cross in front of goal, where Nicolas Mortensen was able to steer the ball into the net.

1-0 FC Helsingør

Right after the break, FC Helsingør made it 2-0, and once again it was Nicolas Mortensen who scored. A relatively harmless ball was played back to Balkany's goalkeeper, but an energetic pressing Mortensen managed to block the goalkeeper from taking the goal kick, and could poke the ball in. A peculiar goal, created by the high press on the goalkeeper.

A number of substitutions were made in the second half by both teams, and it became quite heated, with a number of cards as a result. Substitute Emil Erbas saw red rather inexplicably a few minutes before full time, after some scuffles in front of Balkany's goal.

But it was FCH who closed the party, when fellow substitute Ibrahim Samrawi was brought down by a trip in the box in the 88. minute. Patrick Olsen stepped up to the ball and confidently put it into the net past the FC Balkany goalkeeper, despite the keeper diving the right way. That gave FCH the best possible farewell to the training camp in Turkey before the return trip home tomorrow morning.
