FC Helsingør had today the first training session of the summer for the first team, where the squad began preparations for the upcoming season in 2. division.
It was also the first day at work for FC Helsingør’s new Spanish coaching team led by head coach Manolo Sanlúcar. He comes from a similar position at the Spanish club Atlético Paso.
– FC Helsingør is an exciting club with an exciting project, which did not take me long to say yes to when I was offered the opportunity to come here. Now it is about taking on a major sporting challenge, and we must do that with passion and by building a strong team. That work started today, says Manolo Sanlúcar
Director Bo Bay Hougaard:
He is a coach who seems highly competent, and he has previously managed to stabilize a club and move it forward. I very much look forward to getting a new and positive perspective on FC Helsingør that can move us forward.
At FC Helsingør, the head coach – whose civil name is Manolo Real Jiménez – will work together with Marc Velasco, who has been hired as assistant coach at FCH.
