FC Helsingør have signed a contract with attacking player Tonni Adamsen, who most recently played for BK Frem.
26-year-old Tonni Adamsen has received a one-year contract and joins immediately, after his contract with Frem expired at the turn of the year.
Tonni Adamsen is delighted with the new challenge:
– It feels great. The timing was right now that my contract with Frem has expired, and I was able to come up and train with the team for a while.
-If I should describe myself, I am a good technical attacking player, hardworking, and with a good overview, who likes to play fast football.
– It has been challenging to come up here, where the pace is just a step above what I have been used to, but I feel ready for it. I still feel that I have plenty I can learn, and it will be super exciting to add to that and work on getting up to the next level.
– I played against FCH last year (in 2. Division, ed.), and it was clear that it was a really good football team. I have trained up here for about a week now, and I have also been impressed by the atmosphere in the dressing room. The whole squad has welcomed me really well, and everyone has been very helpful, despite the fact that we are somewhat challenged by all kinds of Corona restrictions right now. Now I’m just really looking forward to getting started on the pitch as well.
Sporting director Brian Gellert is pleased that FCH have secured Adamsen’s signature.
– Tonni is yet another player who has been on our list for some time, and whom especially our coaching staff have strongly wanted to bring in. He is the type of player we have previously had success in bringing in: A player who has proved himself at a lower level, and now has to take his game to the next step and prove that he can develop further. We are completely convinced that Tonni can do that here.
He is a player who combines hard work with really good finishing ability, and who has a huge amount of x-factor in his game. We are very much looking forward to seeing him in the FCH shirt.
Tonni Adamsen will wear shirt number 30.
