Frederiksborg Amts Avis contacted the club yesterday for an interview about our ticket prices. We only managed to get back to the journalist after the newspaper’s deadline. Therefore, the article contains only FCH quotes from fans on Facebook. Some of you think it is too expensive to buy a ticket to our matches. We are naturally sorry to hear that.

But the article does not mention that we give young people, students and pensioners a 50 % discount. And that children under 15 years old get in free. A season ticket costs DKK 995, equivalent to DKK 62,19 per home match. We regularly invite our parent clubs to football for free. Training and friendly matches are free, including the popular annual match against Helsingborg.

Although we were relegated to the 2 division, we chose to keep the normal adult price at 100 kroner. We do not believe that the stadium experience has become significantly worse. Fast-paced top-level football is still being played at our fantastic stadium. In the stands, there is a buzz of coziness and local networking. Our expenses are, incidentally, the same – we are still operating with a full-time professional setup. That is necessary for our ambition to be promoted again.

In fact, we are continuously working to improve the stadium experience. We have made the fan bar after the matches a permanent offer, which the ticket also gives access to. Thankfully, many people make use of it. Families with children too, who are allowed to play in the lounge and help us present the flowers to the player of the day.

After the winter break, spectators at Cementen can look forward to us moving one section of seats from the atmosphere section over to the freezing rear ends. That way, there will also be better room for Kronborgs Drenge to create even more celebration and singing in the stands.

The sponsors can also look forward to improvements, as the unsightly player boxes have been lowered so the view of the pitch is better.

We do not have enough insight into the other clubs’ finances to know how their budgets add up. However, we do know that some municipalities directly or indirectly provide subsidies to their first team. We are not in that situation. In the Facebook group that the journalist has used in her research, we can see that opinions on the price are divided. Contact us directly with praise and criticism. Or do it via the fan club.

At matches, there are always representatives from the club’s management present. Here you can also get in touch with us, for example in the fan bar after the match against Middelfart tomorrow, where we hope to see as many people as possible.

See you at the stadium!
