.We were at this year's sports gala and had been nominated for no fewer than two awards out of three possible for the work in the youth department.

Nicolas Hald Willumsen was nominated for “Youth Sports Achievement of the Year” on the youth side, for scoring the most goals in the U17/19 divisions, as well as a bench spot in the Superliga as a 16-year-old. The award did not go his way, but a big congratulations to Nicolas for being nominated

“Club of the Year” on the youth side was also something we were nominated for, and here Kritte (U17), Nicolas (U17), Marc Thevis (talent manager) and Rene Lybek Hansen (T+ and Top Center) were proudly allowed to receive the honor.

T+-coach Rene Lybek was a very happy man:
– We are both honored and proud at the same time. Hard work pays off. Huge congratulations to everyone in and around the club. This would not have been possible without their hard and dedicated work in everyday life.
It has been possible to bring all the local football clubs together around talent development for young people. Therefore, the award is recognition of the great work that is being done in the partner clubs. So a huge thank you must go to Snekkersten IF, Helsingør IF, Frem Hellebæk IF, Hornbæk IF, Kvistgård IF, Espergærde IF, Vapnagaard FK72, Helsingør FC, Tikøb IF – Fredensborg B&I, Gilleleje FK, KBK Hillerød, Nødebo IF and IS Skævinge Fodbold for the great support and backing for our project.
We are incredibly proud of the recognition, and we are especially proud of the award committee's justification:

“The award as ‘Club of the Year’ is awarded to FC Helsingør for their focused work with the club's youth teams.

It has been possible to bring all the local football clubs together around talent development for young people. Therefore, the award is also a recognition of the great work that is being done in the partner clubs.

Talent development environments take time to create, but FC Helsingør has set the direction. From being a T-license club, they succeeded in 2017 in achieving a B-license for the U-17 team. Now the entire organization must move up to B-license, after which new goals can be set.

In collaboration with Helsingør Talent and Elite, FC Helsingør creates talent environments where players from all over North Zealand can receive education and training that fit together. One example of that collaboration is the morning training, where around 60 bright-eyed and happy football players turn up.”
