Last year, for the first time, we presented the Sparekassen Sjælland Talent Award to the FCH youth player at Helsingør Elite Sports Academy who had stood out the most in the year gone by. Last year’s award went to Emil Steen Rasmussen from FCH U17 team’s age group 2002 – originally an Espergærde IF player.

For many years, local businesses have strongly supported the great work in the youth department, and this year has been no exception. Therefore, FCH Talent is proud once again to be able to present the Sparekassen Sjælland Talent Award, generously sponsored by Sparekassen Sjælland.

This year’s talent is selected in collaboration between FCH Talent and Helsingør Talent & Elite based on some fixed criteria:

– Each calendar year we choose a player who is both a student in HEA’s sports program and an FCH youth player. This award is given to recognize the recipient’s abilities both as a football player at FC Helsingør, and as a student at Helsingør Elite Sports Academy

– Along the way, the recipient has shown great dedication, focus, maturity and, not least, a talent for developing himself/herself as a student, player and person. These traits have again enabled the recipient to perform on the pitch and in the classroom.

– At the same time, the recipient has used their social skills and helped create wellbeing and a good learning environment in both settings.

– One of the most important criteria for both Sparekassen Sjælland, Helsingør Elite Sports Academy (HEA) and FCH Talent is that both school and sport are prioritized and interconnected in a close interplay for the nominees.

The nominees this year are:
1. Nicklas Skou Holm – U19
2. Lasse Skafte – U17
3. Mads Havemann – U15

The award will be presented before kickoff on Saturday d. 25.05 before the match against Lyngby BK. It is also the day when we take a festive farewell to our old stadium, so come down and give a big hand to the recipient of the Sparekassen Sjælland Talent Award 2019.
