Souheib Dhaflaoui has chosen to leave Næstved BK for FC Helsingør and is therefore returning to the club he represented back in 2016.

The attacking player made over 100 appearances in the Næstved shirt and has for the past two seasons been a regular starter. However, the results have not materialized for Næstved this season, and with only one victory they are currently found at the bottom of the NordicBet Liga, a single point behind FC Helsingør.

The move underlines FC Helsingør’s strengthening in this transfer window, where 27-year-old Dhaflaoui becomes the sixth new face in the squad.
For Dhaflaoui, however, the move is not such a big upheaval, as he has previously been through Helsingør and at the same time has played alongside captain Daniel Norouzi.

“It is an exciting project here in Helsingør. I’ve also spoken a bit with Daniel Norouzi, who has said good things about the club and of course I also remember my time here positively.”

Now it is about getting points and turning the results around in Helsingør, and here Dhaflaoui believes that his experience can help make a difference.

“I have tried being below the line before and know what it takes to turn the situation around. It is a good team I have joined, and the goal is clear.
I am technically strong myself and can use my overview to take part in the build-up and distribute the ball, which fits really well with the style of play here in Helsingør”

We look forward to seeing Souheib Dhafloui in action already in the team’s upcoming test matches.

The contract runs until the end of 2025
