There was opposition from the top flight when FC Helsingør played a training match against Superliga side Randers FC in Randers on Saturday. It ended in a narrow 2-1 victory for the home team, in a match that FC Helsingør can take a lot of credit from.

The match was well played from both sides, and FCH played well, especially in the first half, but Randers did break the deadlock with two goals in the second half from Emil Riis and Austrian Simon Piesinger, before FCH trialist Matteo Aramburu reduced the score to 2-1 with ten minutes remaining.

FCH's next training match is already on Wednesday against the NordicBet League relegated side from Næstved. It is at home in Helsingør, and the match kicks off at 18.30.
