FC Helsingør welcomed this morning to this year’s final networking meeting for the club’s partners.
This morning was special, as we had exceptionally been allowed to hold the network in the lounge on the first floor at Helsingør Stadion.
As this was the first networking meeting after the club’s general meeting back at the end of October, the new board naturally had to be greeted after the usual delicious breakfast buffet provided by Nordsjællands Catering.
Before that, CEO Bo Bay Hougaard opened by presenting today’s program and talked about some of the challenges one faces off the pitch when the results on the field are not as expected. Then the focus turned to the club’s newest partner, PIF-Pay It Forward, which we launched with great success at Friday’s final home match.
Before the floor was passed on, everyone was encouraged to give the team one last boost in 2023 by joining the away trip to Næstved next weekend, where this half-season’s last important match will be played.
Afterwards it was time to meet the new board with both new and familiar faces. The ball was first tossed to board chairman Finn Moseholm, who spoke about his background and his passion for football and especially talent development. Finn has been part of Helsingør for many years and is deeply passionate about the club and our shared visions for the future.
The same applies to the board’s two new members, Aslak Gotlieb and Erik Joosten, even though they are relatively new in the FC Helsingør context. In his daily life, Aslak is involved in many different things, but communication, project management and authorship are his primary trade. With Aslak on the team, we have gained a master of bridge-building, who will undoubtedly help lift FC Helsingør’s ambitions in the future.
Erik Joosten was also introduced as a new board member. Erik loves football just as much as he is sharp. Erik has moved here from the Netherlands and has tons of experience from his work as a businessman in the pharmaceutical industry. Erik has long been looking at the project at FC Helsingør and feels that the time is now to increase his involvement. Erik will help develop creative and innovative ideas that will likewise move the club in a positive direction going forward.
Once the board had introduced itself, it was time for today’s second highlight: a tour of the lounge. For most of our partners, it was the first time they set foot in the beautiful surroundings, which we hopefully will be able to make use of within the foreseeable future.
Before we concluded today’s networking meeting, the partners met in groups and discussed how FC Helsingør can improve the experience of being a sponsor in the club. In addition, there was an opportunity to debate proposals for making FC Helsingør more attractive to new partners.
A longer winter break now lies ahead of us, during which there will be time to focus on these initiatives, so that we can continue to offer an attractive product off the pitch when we once again open the doors for football at Helsingør Stadion in the new year.
Many thanks to all the partners who attended.
See you in the new year!
