A sunny Monday afternoon featured the training match between FC Helsingør and the visitors from FC Roskilde. The match turned into a real goal fest, with a total of 8 goals scored. It became a well-played and solid game for the lads from Helsingør, who also ended up winning the match by 6-2.
It did not take long at Helsingør Stadium before the fans could enjoy the first goal. After just 13 minutes of play, a cross was converted into a goal when an FC Roskilde player unfortunately made contact with the ball and scored an own goal, giving FC Helsingør a 1-0 lead. Just 10 minutes after the first goal, FC Helsingør made it 2-0. Rasmus Dupont got the ball at his feet and laid it square to the unmarked Dhaflaoui, who was ready to slot it home. 2 minutes after the second goal, Alexander Hvid found himself on a good run toward the box, where he was brought down and FC Helsingør were awarded a penalty. Saku Ylätupa converted it with great confidence, firing the ball into the top right corner to make it 3-0.
At the start of the second half, Rasmus Dupont was again in the role of provider, this time assisting Saku Ylätupa, who made it 4-0 to FC Helsingør. FC Roskilde were also to be part of the goal fest, scoring 2 quick goals in the 55 and 57th minute respectively. But it did not end there; Alexander Hvid delivered clever tricks on his left side and in the 65th minute he broke free, laying the ball off to Rasmus Dupont, who tapped it in to make it 5-2. Last but not least, Nikolaj Bagger also had his say; from his right wingback position, the 18-year-old Nikolaj played a gem of a ball to Donart Bedjeti, who made it 6-2 and thereby set the final score.
A well-playing FC Helsingør side wins the match 6-2 and is therefore ready to host Hillerød Fodbold on Saturday. You can already secure your ticket for the match at the link.
