Our German goalkeeper Sebastian Mielitz has decided to leave FC Helsingør and return to German football.
– I am grateful to have been at the club and have felt welcome from day one. It has been positive here in Helsingør and I have appreciated working with the team and the coaching staff. I came to the club to get playing time and I got that and am happy for the trust I was given. Unfortunately, now it is time for something else and that has nothing to do with FC Helsingør, but more with my family in Germany. I wish FC Helsingør good luck and I am leaving the club as a fan and will continue to follow the team, says Sebastian Mielitz.
Sebastian is an incredibly professional goalkeeper, a good guy and a great asset for our younger goalkeepers, where his experience has been a great help. It was lovely to have him here and we can only wish him all the best.
Goalkeeping coach Simon Hansen
There is no doubt that it was a big day for the club when Sebastian Mielitz signed a contract with FC Helsingør back in January. Now the cooperation ends by mutual agreement between the club and Mielitz.
– Sebastian has been fantastic here during his short period in Helsingør. He has shown his teammates how serious training and hard work make you better day by day. It has been clear to everyone that he has played at the highest level both in Denmark and Germany. He has left his mark and will be missed. All the best to him in the future, says head coach Morten Eskesen.
We wish Sebastian all the best in the future.
