The club and 19-year-old Robert Marcus have agreed to extend the midfielder's current contract by two more years.
This should be seen in light of Robert's fine performances in the NordicBet Liga and his hard work on the training pitch.
Robert has come through FC Helsingør's talent academy and was a prominent figure in the club's U-19 team before seizing the chance for a place on the first team.
The contract extension underlines the club's ambitions to focus even more on developing its own talents and at the same time being able to offer them the best conditions for success. Both on and off the pitch.
We believe in Robert's qualities and he is a great example that if you are good enough, then you are old enough.
Robert himself is also proud of the extension and looks forward to becoming an even bigger part of the project at FC Helsingør.
“I am incredibly happy and it is wonderful to finally have the future in place. I believe a lot in the project and it also shows a lot of trust from the club's side that they have now chosen to extend the contract by two more years. Now it is just about building on that and continuing to develop even more here in Helsingør.”
Originally the contract expired in 2024, but now the parties have put pen to paper until 30/6-2026.
