Ricki Olsen was one of the players whose contract expired at the end of the season, and it has been decided that the contract will not be extended. Ricki Olsen is thus leaving FC Helsingør, where he has played since 2014, when he came from Nordvest FC. Before that he had played for BIF, Randers, Viborg FF and Næstved.

Director Janus Kyhl sends praise after Ricki Olsen at the time of farewell:
– Ricki has very much been the club's man, and has played over 100 matches for us on our shared journey from 2 Division and up into the Superliga. He has filled a lot in the squad in a positive way, and has been one of the players our young boys could lean on, with his great experience. It has been a bit tight with playing time over the last while, and now is probably the time for both parties to try something new. The club would like to send a big thank you to Ricki for a professional and dedicated effort, and wish him all the best going forward.

Ricki Olsen looks back on four successful years in the FCH shirt:
– It has been an unforgettable journey to go all the way from the Second Division to the Superliga, and it has been the best four years of my career. I have only positive things to say about the club, and it has been a pleasure to contribute with what I have been able to bring. I wish FC Helsingør and our fans all the best going forward. I am sure the club will return to the Superliga in an even stronger version.

Ricki Olsen reached 110 matches and 17 goals in the white and light blue shirt.
