After yesterday’s victory against FC Roskilde in the NordicBet Liga, it was today the reserve team’s turn to take to the field. They were to try to avenge last week’s 0-4 defeat at home against AC Horsens.
It must be said to be “mission accomplished,” as FC Helsingør both took the win and kept a clean sheet in the match in Horsens. Already after the first half FCH were ahead 2-0 thanks to goals by Lucas Lodberg after 20 minutes and Alexander Holst after 45. U19 head coach Marc Thevis, who was in charge of today’s match, especially highlighted the strong defence as the key to victory, but also praised in particular the build-up to the 1-0 goal, which was a well-executed attack down the left wing.
FC Helsingør fielded its U19 team, reinforced with Emil Erbas, against AC Horsens’ Superliga reserve team.
Today’s lineup was:
—–Lucas Lodberg – Alexander Holst – Nicolai Jantzen.
Lucas Christiansen – Emil Erbas – Oliver Basse – Mathias Virkelyst.
Nicklas Skou – “Kritte” Bonnesen – Alexander Bouaziz.
——————Oliver Stenderup.
