FC Helsingør are pleased to present the first two new players in the squad, ahead of the upcoming season in the NordicBet Liga. Both Philip Rejnhold Olsen and Sebastian Czajkowski already have experience from the country’s second-highest division, as they have both been signed on a free transfer from Roskilde FC.
Philip Rejnhold is 24 years old and primarily excels at right back, but can also play on the wing. He has a background at B93, B1908, Brønshøj and AB, and played 22 matches for Roskilde FC in the past season, scoring one goal.
23-year-old Sebastian Czajkowski is a striker, also with a past at B93, as well as at Vendsyssel FF, for whom he scored the club’s first-ever goal in the Superliga, in the debut win against OB in the 18/19 season. Last season, Czajkowski played 18 matches for Roskilde in the NordicBet Liga, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
Sporting director Brian Gellert is delighted with the two newcomers:
– Philip and Sebastian both strike a really good balance between being young and still having room to develop, while also bringing quite a bit of experience from the NordicBet Liga, and in Sebastian’s case the Superliga.
– These are two players who have been on our radar for some time, and they fit really well into the squad we want to build here. They both bring pace and physicality, and are very ambitious with their football. Sebastian has proven that he can score goals in both the NordicBet Liga and the Superliga, and it is no secret that Philip was quite sought after after having played a really good season in Roskilde. These are two players we expect a lot from.
