Those of you who were at the Stadium Sunday afternoon saw Rasmus Ahrensbøll Sjøholm, or “Ras” as he is called internally at the club, receive the award as this year’s Sparekassen Sjælland Talent.

The award is given to the FCH player and Helsingør Elite Academy student who has distinguished himself most in the past season.

Academy Director, Kenneth Rasmussen:
– Rasmus is a local Snekkersten boy from our talented age group 2006, and has now been in the club for quite a few years. He is also a very loyal and dedicated player who, despite interest from other clubs, has chosen to stay here in Helsingør.

Rasmus is always very conscientious at school, where, regardless of his many hours on the football pitch, he has delivered a diligent and conscientious effort. He is furthermore well liked among his classmates, where he is regarded as a loyal and good friend.

On the pitch, Rasmus has always been one of the more key players in his age group, where he has always led from the front in terms of work rate in training and matches. Rasmus is a very versatile attacking player, who has good technique and great game understanding and is good at setting up his teammates and, last but not least – can also put the ball in the net himself!

He also has great self-discipline, which means that he is always well prepared; often you see him doing extra training, where he, among other things, makes the most of morning training in the school partnership. In everyday life, you always see Rasmus as one of the first to arrive for training and one of the last to go home again, setting a good example for others – therefore it is even more well deserved that he receives this award.

Congratulations to Rasmus Ahrensbøll Sjøholm.

From FCH Talent Academy, we would also like to extend a big thank you to Sparekassen Sjælland for supporting this award and, not least, a thank you to Mr. August and Craft for the fine gifts.
