Markus is hired to assist Daniel Pedersen in his role as interim head coach
Markus has been brought in from OB, where he was U-14 coach and Assistant head of recruitment. The only 23-year-old Markus has a past at FC Helsingør, where he has worked both as a youth coach and as an opponent analyst for the first team.
Markus is happy to return to Helsingør, and he is looking forward to helping the team reach its goals:
“First and foremost, this is my former club, so it made a lot of sense to me. I have previously worked 4 years for the academy, and at the end of that time I also handled opponent analysis for the 1. team. I am happy to be back home and look forward to getting started and helping the club get into the top 6.”
Head coach Daniel K. Pedersen is looking forward to the collaboration with Markus, whom he knows from the youth academy:
“Markus and I know each other, as we have previously worked together at the academy. We think very similarly football-wise, which is an important thing for me. I am really happy that he was able to come so quickly. It is important to have two coaches who think alike, as it benefits the team as much as possible. I look forward to him settling in and finding his feet completely.”
