For some time we have been in dialogue with DBU and AB about how we could play our cup match against AB on the 06/08.
The new stadium will not be ready for handover before the 08/08., so initially we had looked at playing in Snekkersten, or at another parent club.
Unfortunately, it has turned out that we are not able to handle the task logistically, since pitch barriers, toilets and ticket sales would all have to be set up at a possible replacement stadium in order to meet DBU’s requirements.
We then looked into whether the match could be moved to a later date, but it was not possible to find a match date in August that fit both our schedule and AB’s schedule.
Therefore, we unfortunately have to be forced to give up home advantage and play at Gladsaxe Stadium.
This is certainly not something we do gladly, but only out of necessity. The match will therefore be played at 18.15 on the 06/08 at Gladsaxe Stadium.
We hope as many of you as possible will take the short trip south and support the boys anyway.
