Today’s match against Kolding IF ended in a draw.
From the start of the match, Kolding IF were best on the ball and also found the net after just 8 minutes following a cross from the left side.
After that, we got the ball under control and moved further up Kolding’s half, which resulted in the returning Sterling Yatéké after 23 minutes managing to win the ball inside the box and put it in the net.
That meant we went into the break with the score at 1-1.
The second half quickly became a long one, as Mathias Christensen after 48 minutes picked up his second yellow card and the rest of the team therefore had to fight the remainder of the match with one man down.
As the minutes passed, Kolding created several chances, but a strong defence stood in the way of a goal each time, and thus the score from the first half also ended as the final result.
FC Helsingør gets the first point of this spring season and can now look ahead to the final match of the regular season, which takes place on Saturday at 13.00 when the trip goes to Haderslev, where Sønderjyske await.
Thank you to all the fans who attended and supported the team all the way to the final whistle!
