FC Helsingør has sold defender Philip Rejnhold to Helsingborg IF, who play in the top division in Sweden, Allsvenskan. Philip Rejnhold joined the club back in November 2020, where he came from FC Roskilde. On the sale of the defender, head coach Morten Eskesen says:
– The club has chosen to accommodate Phillip's strong wish to change clubs and help him move on in his career. Phillip has developed significantly at FC Helsingør since he arrived and we wish him all the best in the future.
Philip Rejnhold has played a major role in FC Helsingør's success, where he has been an important linchpin in the defense and helped secure a place in the promotion playoffs in the NordicBet Liga in the past 2 seasons.
In March 2022, Philip Rejnhold otherwise extended his contract with FC Helsingør, but is now choosing to accept the offer from Helsingborg IF just across the strait on the other side.
