FC Helsingør have hired Peter Feher as the club’s new head coach. Peter Feher comes from a similar role at Hellerup Idrætsklub, and was chosen from among several potential candidates after a thorough selection process.

It is an experienced head coach who is coming to FC Helsingør. 44-year-old Peter Feher has worked as a football coach for more than 20 years. He was employed by FC Nordsjælland for nine years, where he, among other things, won the championship with the U19 team, and later was assistant coach for Kasper Hjulmand and First Team Coach under Olafur Kristjansson. Peter Feher has spent the past nearly two years as head coach in HIK in 2. division, and in addition to a master’s degree in Sport from Budapest Sports University he is also the holder of the highest coaching license in Denmark: UEFA P coaching license.

Peter Feher is looking forward to getting started:
– I think FC Helsingør is in the middle of a very exciting project. There is a truly great potential to unite the entire area up here around the club, especially when the new stadium arrives. FCH have a good squad, which as soon as possible should be competing for promotion to the Superliga again. I already know some of the players from my time in Nordsjælland, and most recently I of course know Carl Lange, who played on HIK’s first team under me. It is a club with many technically good footballers, and a strong core of players, and I very much look forward to working with them

In addition, I am not the only one who has been impressed by the youth work being done at the club, which was crowned with the achievement of the B license last year. In the longer term, one of my most important areas of work will be to get the club’s own youth players into the first team.

Director Janus Kyhl is delighted with the arrival:
– Peter was the best candidate in a strong field of applicants, and he has been at the top of the list since we began looking for a new head coach. We know him all the way back from his time at FCN as a skilled talent developer, with a good ability to develop and bring out young players. In addition, he stands for an offensive and technically based style of football, which fits very well with the way we want to play football here in Helsingør. Peter comes with fresh eyes and a lot of experience, and we are very much looking forward to working with him.
