FC Helsingør has signed a contract with Osama Akharraz, who thereby returns to Helsingør, where he was also from the summer of 2017 to the summer of 2018.

The attacking midfielder has initially received a contract until the summer, with the option of an extension. Akharraz has been training with FC Helsingør for a longer period, where he has shown such good form that the sporting management has decided that he should be offered a new contract.

Head coach Peter Feher sees good prospects in Akharraz:
– He is a player who offers something a little different from the other midfielders we have. He is more attacking. The plan is for him to provide the penultimate pass on a number of goals here in the spring, and he is also a competent finisher himself. His last spell at the club was somewhat spoiled by injuries, but he has been training with us for a while now, and has looked really good, despite having been out for a while.

– The advantage of bringing him in during a winter break is also that we can get him into shape for the spring, where he can then contribute with ball security, a good attacking eye, and technique. We had him involved in the reserve team's last autumn match against Sønderjyske, where he scored a goal and set up two, so he is definitely a player I expect can contribute a lot in the spring.
