FC Helsingør sells Oliver Kjærgaard to Norwegian Ham-Kam
24-year-old Oliver Kjærgaard moves with immediate effect to the top division in Norway – Eliteserien.
Although the Danish transfer window is closed, several foreign clubs, including the Norwegian ones, still have the opportunity to make deals. This has now resulted in a transfer between FC Helsingør and Ham-Kam with Oliver as the main character.
Oliver already has a past in Norway, where in 2018 he moved from Lyngby BK to Tromsø IL and later on to Nest-Sotra IL. Now he returns to Norway on a contract that ends 31/12-2025
There has been interest from several places, but in the end the choice fell on Ham-Kam.
Oliver himself is also happy about the move, but looks back very positively on his time at FC Helsingør
"I would like to say thank you to the entire club, the entire staff and everyone on the team. It has been three crazy years, where we have become a small family, so it is really hard to leave. It has been a fantastic part of my life and a great pleasure. It is a proud moment and I can leave the club with a smile on my face. Now it's back to Norway for a rematch and I'm very much looking forward to that too"
Oliver Kjærgaard, who together with the rest of the squad was on a training camp in Turkey, has flown directly from Turkey to Norway, where he has completed the medical examination and can now officially call himself a Ham-Kam player.
