Investors, partners and other stakeholders at FC Helsingør were once again gathered on this fine spring morning for the club’s monthly networking meeting. Today’s program featured an introduction to the club’s newest partner, PIF – Pay It Forward.
After the first cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast buffet from @Næsby den søde bager, board member Aslak Gottlieb took the floor and welcomed today’s speaker, CEO and founder of PIF, Mark Corke.
The collaboration between FC Helsingør and PIF is already well underway, and several sponsors and fans have also already signed up and made use of the app.
Today it was time to introduce the rest of the club’s network to the concept, which works like gift cards for specific products with the club’s partners.
Along the way, different ways of using the concept were discussed, which can benefit both the club and our partners, but also help lift the local business community beyond the club’s reach.
PIF has the platform to build bridges across industries and business sectors while also helping to activate the community and create inclusion for all ages regardless of affiliation with FC Helsingør.
PIF offers plenty of tailored options, and after today’s networking meeting the club’s partners have become much wiser about the potential. Hopefully some of today’s ideas will become reality, so that together we can get the initiative underway and drive development in a positive direction.
Although FC Helsingør this season is not meeting sporting expectations, it is a great pat on the back for all the club’s supporters and partners that the energy remains very positive, and the willingness to look ahead and continue focusing on the development of the project at FC Helsingør is unaffected by the results on the pitch.
