Mikkel Thygesen leaves FC Helsingør

FC Helsingør´s assistant coach, Mikkel Thygesen, had his last working day at the club on Saturday, which he has chosen to leave after 3,5 years. “Thyge” has felt that now, with the club in the middle of a coaching change, is the right time for him to look toward new challenges.

“I have had 3,5 fantastic years at the club, where I feel I have developed as a coach and as a person, so I owe a big thank you to the entire FCH – both the administration, the fans, and of course not least the staff and the players”.

For FC Helsingør, it is a sad farewell to an incredibly well-liked person, who leaves a mark throughout the club.

“Thyge will be missed as we now continue the journey toward new goals. I had hoped to have him with us a little longer, as he has been a great asset, but I also fully understand Thyge´s wish, and we all wish him all the best. We part as friends, and I certainly hope our paths cross again later” – says FC Helsingør´s Sporting Director, Janus Kyhl.

Mikkel Thygesen has not kicked his last ball at Helsingør Stadion, as his farewell to everyone goes “See you at the stadium”.
