The midfielder Mathias Christensen is after nearly two years at FC Roskilde soon finished with the 2. division club.
From 1. July 2023 the 21-year-old Mathias is once again under contract with FC Helsingør.
Mathias is a local boy, who was brought up through FC Helsingør’s academy, but later moved to Roskilde, where he has showcased his qualities, both as a creator and also in the role of goalscorer.
This summer he will then return home and once again pull on the blue-striped shirt for the city’s team. This time for the first team.
There is also no doubt that CEO Bo Bay Hougaard is happy to get a familiar face back.
“It is always nice when you can add more quality to the squad, and the work is really well underway to build the team up for next season. It is even better when it is a familiar face in the club and the academy who returns – now with even more experience.”
Mathias has signed with FC Helsingør for a 2,5-year period, so the contract runs until 31/12-2025.
