It was a relatively satisfied head coach Christian Lønstrup, who evaluated the match against Hobro afterwards:
– In terms of play, it was an approved match. It’s a shame that we lose, because I think we deserved more. But it illustrates very well what we are up against at the level we have reached. If you give the others the slightest bit, they take most of it. They get to 1-1, pretty much out of nowhere, and then they score to 2-1 on a set piece. So we could feel that in certain phases we are being punished big time at this level.

However, I generally think that many of our players played well. TK, who has just arrived from Nordsjælland, has trained with us once, and was perhaps the best player on the pitch today. I was in doubt about whether he should start, but he was really good. I actually think we were good across the board. We were good defensively, and for long periods we were also good on the ball in the middle, but maybe we just lack that final sharpness up front. In the last ten to fifteen minutes some of our players were also a bit physically tired, and then you easily slip a little in relation to the agreements you have on the pitch. But otherwise I think it was clearly an approved performance

Midfielder Christian ”TK” Köhler made his debut in the Helsingør shirt, and impressed after having only one training session with the squad. He passed Christian Lønstrup’s praise on to the team:
– I am positively surprised by the team. It is a really, really well-played team, with a style of play that is a little like the one I come from in Nordsjælland. That has made it easy to fit into the team, and the guys have welcomed me really well, and have been good at showing me what I need to do. That has made it easy for me to be able to play my game in the middle already here in the first match.
I also think we got off to a good start in the Superliga. We had the ball a lot at the beginning, and dared to play with it. We also score quite early in the match, but just before halftime and at the start of the second half they come more into the match, and after they score we look a bit tired. That is of course something we need to work on improving going forward.
