Kristoffer Munksgaard has decided to retire, and therefore he will not be found in FC Helsingør's squad for the coming season. Munksgaard joined the club in January and played half a season, during which he scored 3 goals.
“I have had the privilege of being able to make a living playing football for so many years, which has given me a lot of great experiences over the years with many fantastic people”

Kristoffer Munksgaard is thus hanging up his boots at the age of 32 years.
“When is the right time? For me as a person and footballer, the time has come to stop while the body is still doing well. The thought has been recurring for me for a longer period of time, but when the opportunity suddenly arose to become part of FC Helsingør, it was a unique chance. I owe the club a big thank you and have only good things to say about the club. A fantastic club with a lot of great people and skilled footballers and coaches. I wish the club all the best going forward”, says Kristoffer Munksgaard.
Kristoffer Munksgaard has had a fantastic career over many years and he also made his mark here at FC Helsingør through his professional approach. Munksgaard has worked hard for the team, been humble and there has been great respect around him both as a player and as a person. It has been a great pleasure to work with Munksgaard and I wish him good luck in the future, says head coach Morten Eskesen.
We wish Kristoffer Munksgaard all the best in the future.
