Dear everyone.
Thank you for a fantastic day yesterday. It was an absolute pleasure to feel how all of Helsingør and the surrounding area supported our first match in the Superliga.
In fact, so many of you turned up that our small organization was stretched to the limit, and in some places beyond the limit as well.
All in all, there were almost 50% more people than we had dared hope for in our wildest imagination, and more than twice as many away fans as calculated.
This gave us quite a few challenges yesterday, especially in the ticket sales, which some of you probably noticed.
We will do our utmost to correct the errors and shortcomings that arose yesterday, especially around the challenges at the entrances and the stalls.
But in that connection, we also have a request for you, our supporters. In the Superliga, the pressure and spectator interest are far greater than in 1. and 2. division. The days when you could show up twenty minutes before kickoff, buy a ticket and walk right in are probably on pause for the time being.
Therefore, we encourage everyone to:
– Arrive early.
– Ease the pressure at the entrances by buying tickets from home via shop.fchelsingor.dk (that also makes it much faster to get in, since you do not first have to stand in line for tickets, and then for inspection and entry).
– Print your tickets on paper. You can have your ticket on your smartphone, but then we recommend that you:
a): Find the ticket before you reach the ticket control.
b): Turn the brightness all the way up on your phone.
c): Zoom in on the ticket's barcode so the scanner can read it more easily.
Please note that certain protective covers and screens are very difficult for the scanners to read. If the scanner cannot read your ticket, you will not be admitted.
– In addition, there is still every reason to manage to buy season tickets for the rest of the home matches in the Alka Superliga.
The director himself has asked for the floor:
Dear friends.
Thank you so much for your support yesterday. We are aware that not everything went smoothly. We have listened to, read and heard your criticism.
Today we held the first of several evaluation meetings ahead of the FCM match, and we are very aware that we need to correct the "teething problems" we are still struggling with. I am convinced that already by the next match we will have got a handle on many of the things that went a bit haywire yesterday.
Once again, thank you for showing up and helping make the day a celebration for both the club and the city.
Best regards, Janus Kyhl
