25-year-old Jayce Olivero is returning to his home country of Gibraltar, where he has been offered a contract with top team St. Joseph’s FC.
Olivero signed a one-year contract with FC Helsingør in the summer. The parties have now agreed to terminate the contract, so the left-back has the opportunity to return home and continue his career.
The Gibraltar national team player managed three substitute appearances in the Helsingør shirt, where he was among other things part of securing the season’s second point against last year’s relegated team from AaB.
Although the stay was short, and the minutes could have been more, he is still happy with his time in Helsingør.
“It has been a pleasure to be part of FC Helsingør. I greatly appreciate the club and my teammates, and I wish them all the best for the rest of the season.”
