FC Helsingør enters into an agreement with Jakob Johansson
25-year-old Jakob Johansson received his football upbringing at Hvidovre and has during his career played for clubs such as Randers FC in the country's top division, HB Køge and most recently Fremad Amager. His contract with the latter expired back in July, and since then Jakob has been looking for his next challenge.
He has now found that challenge at FC Helsingør.
The striker has trained with the team here in Helsingør over the past few weeks, and now the club has decided to offer him a deal for the rest of the year. This now gives him the opportunity to make an impression in the remaining matches before the winter break.
Jakob is a versatile player and is dangerous in front of goal both as a center forward and from the wings. He has already settled in well in Helsingør and is looking forward to getting the chance to play.
“We have some good guys in the dressing room, and the same goes for the people around the club. I have already settled in well, and of course I hope that I can make a difference. The team has struggled, but I am convinced that we can find our rhythm again. At any rate, I intend to give everything I have. We need to bring the smiles back to the stands, and I hope that my performances can contribute to that.”
The contract runs until the end of December.
