FC Helsingør and Jacob Schoop have agreed to extend the collaboration for another year.
34-year-old Jacob Schoop is playing his first full season for FC Helsingør this year, after he joined the club in the winter transfer window in 2022 from Vejle BK.
Jacob has long been a key part of the team, and since the injury to Frederik Juul Christensen has really broken through in midfield, where he has dominated alongside Callum McCowatt.
He also had a central role in the team’s placement in this year’s promotion play-off, as his two goals in the last two matches of the regular season helped secure FC Helsingør a place among the league’s 6 best teams.
In this year’s final stage he also found his teammates on the pitch to a greater extent and is therefore credited with three assists.
He is an experienced player who has thus chosen to stay in Helsingør for another year, and we look forward to enjoying Jacob both on and off the pitch next season.
The contract runs until 30/6-2024
