Hundested IK will, effective from January 2020, be a new football club in the collaboration under FC Helsingør. The club is the westernmost so far in the collaboration, which now includes a total of 21 football clubs.
Coastal protection for football talents
The new collaboration completes the “Coastal Protection” in relation to the talents along the coast in North Zealand. The FC Helsingør Talent collaboration includes all coastal clubs from Hundested in the west via Skævinge to and including Humlebæk in the east.
“It has long been a great wish to establish club cooperation also towards the west. We are very proud to now cover the entire Helsingør Municipality as well as the region from coast to coast,” says René Lybek Hansen, Children & Youth Development Coach and sports coordinator, FC Helsingør.
The collaboration with the 21 clubs includes approx. 2.500 local youth players. That is the basis for the further development of FC Helsingør Talent.
“We see great potential in so many young talented players both locally and regionally. We will therefore do everything to be visible and present in our collaborations,” continues René Lybek Hansen.
Dialogue and TOP-Center
The philosophy behind FC Helsingør Talent is that, together, a close collaboration is established in which everyone develops each other both across the clubs and through the use of FC Helsingør’s club consultant, who is already working on planning the further process with Hundested IK. This will, for example, be in the form of sparring, knowledge sharing, inspiration training, coach courses and local joint training sessions.
With Hundested IK’s entry into the collaboration, Hundested IK also becomes a partner in FCH TOP-Center North in Fredensborg. The TOP-Center is a project between FCH and DBU, where once a week training is offered for the age groups U10, U11 and U12. For each age group there may be a maximum of 20 players with special potential.
