After a long period of positive dialogue and good meetings, a cooperation agreement has now been entered into between Humlebæk BK and FC Helsingør, about a formal collaboration and partnership between the two clubs.

– Humlebæk Boldklub is a large and well-functioning association with around 500 members, located “just” on the other side of the municipal border, so it has been completely natural to have a dialogue about getting a collaboration up and running,” says René Lybek Hansen, T+ coach at FCH, and continues:
– Humlebæk BK has a really fine history of developing talents and has a well-functioning and healthy football environment, which we at FCH very much want to help cultivate, in the community that 18 other clubs up here in the area are already part of.

As part of the cooperation agreement between the two clubs, Humlebæk BK has also agreed from 1 June 2019 to enter as a partner in our FCH TOP Centre in Fredensborg, one of 32 centres nationwide for U10-U12 football players.

The TOP Centres have been created to give local football players 1x extra training per week, without the players having to move to a bigger club. This means that the clubs that are in partnership with FCH in this regard can also have players with special prerequisites invited and selected jointly for the TOP Centres.

In the cooperation with FCH, the clubs also get a permanently attached FCH consultant, with whom they are in dialogue/contact at least every 5th week. How he is used best locally is for the club and the consultant to agree on.

In addition, in the cooperation we are responsible for joint education of youth coaches. This applies both to FCH education, DBU, Coerver courses, and other initiatives that strengthen and improve our youth environments.

The local coaches from our partner clubs are invited to come and seek inspiration, as well as to be assistants at our U10-U12 centres, as well as being linked to FCH’s first team, with access to the stadium for players from the clubs, ball boys and other activities.

– The ultimate goal of the cooperation is to create good training environments for youth football throughout the region, and ensure sparring around the professional aspects, and what we all love: football itself,” concludes René Lybek Hansen.

Talent manager Kenneth Rasmussen is also very enthusiastic about bringing Humlebæk into the FCH fold:

– Talent development is a core element in our club DNA. That is why the agreement with Humlebæk is very welcome. At FCH we have a strategy to embrace and further develop children’s and youth football throughout our large region here in North Zealand. That a large and respected club like Humlebæk is now joining the ranks in our football community makes us very happy and proud. It also tells us that we are on the right track when it comes to gathering and strengthening talent development in our region.

At the same time, kudos to our René Lybek Hansen for carrying out our strategy in the best possible way. We look forward to the cooperation.
