The year 2025 is drawing to a close. Tonight we will toast in the new year together with family and friends.
A year that we in FCH have great expectations for. It should be no secret that 2025 has not been a successful FCH year, we acknowledge that and the most important thing in a difficult period is to learn a lot from it and make sure to do everything better. That is exactly what we have set out to do: give everyone a better FCH, where there is reason for optimism and great confidence in things, because we have so many ambitions and dreams for this fantastic club, which is beginning to wake up again.
Several new initiatives are underway both on and off the pitch and although both the Christmas period and now New Year normally put things a little on stand-by, we have also been busy during this period, so we are ready for 2026.
For us to succeed with the project, it is enormously important and vital that we have support from partners, the city and the fans. We are in the process of rebuilding the previously successful FCH Network, where René Dupont, among others, has been brought back to be an important part together with the rest of us in making us succeed.
On the sporting side, we also need to right the ship. A current position at the bottom of 2 division is far from satisfactory and not a position a club of our size and ambitions should find itself in. In the first instance, we need to go out and chase the teams above the relegation line so that we retain our status as a 2 division club when the last match of the spring has been played. I have a clear belief, and not least an expectation, that we will do that.
That very belief must be instilled in everyone in and around FCH, because we cannot do it alone; we need all the support we can get, because together we are strongest.
It is itching in the fingers to get started on the new year.
