FC Helsingør and the young midfielder Frederik Roepstorff have today extended their collaboration until the summer of 2020.

Frederik Roepstorff was added to the senior squad last summer, after having been a youth player for both FCH and FC Nordsjælland.

For “Robber”, as his teammates call him, there were no doubts about signing the contract
– I have become closer and closer to the team, and I have gotten a fair amount of playing time this season. I feel that I have developed a lot during my time at FCH. Even though the results have not been that good, and that always affects you, the atmosphere in the dressing room is still really good. It has always been that way up here. There have also been a few more young players coming in this season, and we get along well with each other.

Roepstorff has also gotten a good impression of the new head coach, Peter Feher.
– Our training sessions are very varied, and there is a strong focus on each individual player’s role. Peter is very detail-oriented, and we have had a good start under him, even though the results have unfortunately been lagging a bit.

Director Janus Kyhl has known Frederik Roepstorff for many years, and he is pleased to be able to tie him more closely to the club
– “Robber” is a product of football here in the municipality, and has played youth football in Espergærde since he was very little. He is a player who has worked hard for a long time, and whom we have been able to see grow more and more mature, and take more and more responsibility for his football during the time he has been at the club. The contract we signed today is the reward for his hard work so far, but I am sure that “Robber” knows very well that the work is only just beginning now. He will be exciting to follow, and we are very happy that it will be at FC Helsingør that we can follow him.
