FC Helsingør and Frederik Karlsen extend the collaboration for next season!
FC Helsingør extends the contract with Frederik Karlsen, who is a product of FC Nordsjælland’s talent academy.
He moved to FC Helsingør in the winter transfer window, but unfortunately he only managed two appearances in the Helsingør shirt before suffering a knee injury, which has kept him out so far and for the rest of the season.
It therefore also wasn’t the dream start in Helsingør that both Frederik and the club had hoped for, and we only got a glimpse of the quality he possesses on the pitch.
Therefore it is also completely natural to offer Frederik a new contract, which this time runs for a full year.
Frederik’s current situation looks positive. Although he is unlikely to feature this season, the rehabilitation is looking really good, and the ambitions for next season are also easy to spot.
“I am incredibly happy and proud that we have extended the contract. It was in both parties’ interest, so it is fantastic to have landed an agreement. Now it’s about looking ahead to next season, where I have to show what I can do and give it everything on the pitch. We have some common goals that we have to achieve, and I really look forward to that. I can’t wait to get playing time and hopefully celebrate a lot of wins with the fans.”
We look forward to really seeing Frederik in action in the blue-striped shirt next season.
