On Friday, 2 August, it was a fantastic evening at the stadium. We are very grateful for the support that over 600 spectators gave the team on a beautiful summer evening – there was truly a good and positive atmosphere. The great backing means a lot to the team, and it was precisely that support that helped give the players extra energy on the pitch. The players rewarded it with a 4-0 victory over the visitors from Nykøbing FC – all 4 goals were scored by players who are or have been part of FC Helsingør Talent Academy. It was very important for the whole club that our new project got off to a good start and that the hard work from players and staff in pre-season paid off. We are relieved, looking positively to the future, and look forward to many great experiences at the stadium with community, coziness, and entertaining football.
Preparations for the two matches in the coming week are already underway – now the good start must be followed up with hard work.
Thanks to match sponsor DAGROFA for delivering fantastic food in the lounges, and a thousand thanks to the volunteers who made a huge effort as stewards, in the stalls, in the fan bar, in the commentary box, in the kitchen, and in the lounges – without you we could not have staged the match. For the next home game on Saturday, 24 August 2024 at 14.00 against Thisted, we hope that even more spectators will come, and we will staff up the sales stalls so we can provide even better service to our guests.
