The Sponsor Network gathered yesterday morning in the Lounge at Helsingør Stadion. We are pleased that almost 32 partners chose to show up and spend a morning with us.
Yesterday, a networking meeting was held with our partners at FC Helsingør.
CEO Jim Kirks and sales manager René Dupont welcomed everyone and then Mayor Benedikte Kiær gave a fine presentation about the expansion of the stadium facilities, which can be approved for Superliga football. Benedikte Kiær says that work is being done politically on a short-term plan and a long-term plan. It has already been politically decided that the company Sweco will be responsible for the study of the need for an expansion to a Superliga stadium.
In the short term, the stadium is intended to be expanded to 10.000 spectators without covering. This will in that case be a temporary solution until 2028 and indicative prices for a scaffolding solution are being investigated. The solution must be considered politically and is expected to be approved in June, after which the work can begin and with expected Superliga football in Helsingør in January 2023, if the club manages to be promoted to the Superliga.
In the long term, a covered stadium with space for 6.000 spectators is desired and is planned to be ready in 2028.
In addition to Benedikte's presentation, we could also present our partner Aslak Gottlieb, who spoke in a both funny and interesting way about networking and about meeting and sharing the common third space.
The next networking meeting in FC Helsingør is on Tuesday the 24. May at 07.00-10.00
