Every summer, DBU selects approximately 200 boys nationwide from the T- and B-license clubs’ U14 teams for “Talent meeting,” as it is called. These are boys who are to act as “screens” at DBU’s A-coach education summer program, i.e. they are to be coached by the coaches who must prove their ability, and be “demonstration players” for tactics and execution for the coaches.

This year it is the 2004 age group that will get to show themselves in Jutland (Vejen, Skærbæk and Vildbjerg) – from 2. to 5. July 2018.

The players are divided into groups, where they are coached by the skilled coaches who are in the process of completing their A-license education, and at the same time DBU’s talent coaches are present, watching the players in matches and training sessions. From these approximately 200 players, about 45-50 players are selected for the upcoming DBU U15 Talent Centres.

-"We at FCH Talent are proud that we can contribute with a full 5 skilled 2004 boys (as well as 3 “bubble” players) to DBU Talent Meeting this year," says T+ coach René Lybek Hansen from FCH – "FCH age group 2004 is generally a strong age group that has performed really well, and they are also number 1 in their league. The hard work pays off for the boys, and we think that is strong, and a feather in the cap for both them and us"

The 5 FCH boys who have been selected are: Lucas Lach, Nicolaj Fihl, Lucas Vesth Meibom, Lucas Worch Bakx and Markus Gottschalk. In addition, FCH has had 3 “bubble” players selected, who are called up in case of cancellations or extra places. The three players are Mads Havemann Andersen, Casper “CC” Christensen and Andreas Skou Holm.
