Today FC Helsingør played a reserve team match against Fremad Amager.
There was room for quite a few U19 players, who showed themselves well in today's match. FC Helsingør dominated most of the 1th half and in the 40th minute Liam Jordan put FC Helsingør in front after a well-worked attack down the left side, where Alexander Lyng finds Liam Jordan in the box. He controls the ball and puts it away confidently. We went into halftime leading 1-0.
Fremad Amager start the 2th half well and equalize after just 2 minutes. However, FC Helsingør remained dominant and in the 55th minute Alexander Lyng again puts FC Helsingør ahead. Shortly before the end, Oliver Kass Kawo suffers an injury when, after an aerial duel, he lands on the grass, where a Fremad Amager player steps on his arm.
An unfortunate accident, which sadly means Oliver will be out for the next 3 months. The match ends 2-1 to FC Helsingør after a fine performance by the boys.
Next match is against Lyngby BK on Saturday the 30th of April at 12.45 at Lyngby Stadion.
