A heavy snowfall delayed the match by 45 minutes. After fantastic work by the volunteers at Hobro IK, there was a possibility that the match could become a reality.
A tough away start for FCH, as Hobro IK came best from the start and managed to press the FCH team all the way back into their own half on the frozen pitch. They took advantage of the fact that the FCH team were not quite awake from the start, as Jacob Tjørnelund receives the ball outside the box and smashes the ball into the near corner. 1-0 to Hobro IK.
After Hobro's goal, the FCH team got back into the match. They tried hard to equalize in the last 5 minutes of the first half. They succeeded as well, when Frederik Juul Christensen received the ball and placed an inside of his left foot and the ball went into the net. Equalizer for FCH to 1-1.
In the second half FCH have got control of the wheel and they begin to press Hobro IK back into their own half. 6 minutes into the second half, Nicklas Mouritsen receives the ball from a rebound from the Hobro goalkeeper, which he shoots into the net. 1-2 to FCH.
In the last minutes of the match, Hobro tries to equalize before the final whistle, but after a couple of corners and free kicks outside the box, the match ends and FC Helsingør win their last match of the year.
