In the 1th round of the Cup, the Helsingør side traveled to Hvidovre to meet HIF in a knockout match.

It took 7 minutes before the home team got a cross to Andreas Smed, who could kick the ball past the young FCH goalkeeper Hjalte Petersen. 1-0 to HIF. 14 minutes later, Oliver Drost was played through, where he coolly kicks the ball into the net to equalize. 1-1 score for FCH.

FCH continued to build on their momentum, as Tonni Adamsen receives the ball on the right wing and, with a couple of dribbles and a pass, lays it in to Callum McCowatt, who coolly shoots the ball into the net. 1-2 to FCH.

At the start of the second half, we saw several chances for the Helsingør side without success in the end, but 21 minutes into the half, Tonni Adamsen receives the ball outside the box and blasts it beautifully into the left corner. 1-3 to FCH.

However, HIF quickly answered back, as they 3 minutes after the FCH goal found space down the right side and could cross the ball in toward Magnus Lysholm, who gets the last touch before the ball ends up in the net. 2-3 goal for HIF.

6 minutes before the final whistle, Tonni Adamsen was sent on a dribbling run, where he gets past the HIF defense and can finally send the ball into the net and thus hammer the final nail in the coffin.

FCH win 2-4 and qualify for the 2th round of the Cup.

The next match is at home against FC Fredericia in the NordicBet Liga on Friday, 5 August at 19.00.
