FC Helsingør received today with great pride the official notification from DBU that the club has been appointed as one of 23 TOP center clubs in Denmark.

The TOP centers are a cooperation under DBU, where the aim is to develop and raise the training and level of the best players in the age groups U10-U12, for the benefit and joy of both players, clubs and Danish football.

The TOP center is an offer where clubs can provide DBU-approved extra training for the 10-12-year-olds for the clubs that are partner clubs under the TOP center clubs. In the FC Helsingør setup, it is all parent clubs, as well as the clubs that are partner clubs on the talent side, who will be offered that their best players can participate in the training sessions. The goal is also knowledge sharing as well as upskilling of coaches and the training environment in the clubs that are TOP centers, as well as exchanging experiences, so that one can streamline and structure the training environments for the younger talent age groups.

In addition to the DBU requirement for licensed coaches, FCH has also chosen to offer a physical trainer who will work with motor skills training and running technique, as well as a goalkeeper coach, as this is often an overlooked area in the younger age groups.

In the FCH setup, the participating clubs so far are:
Snekkersten IF
Espergærde IF
Helsingør IF
Kvistgård IF
Frem Hellebæk IF
Hornbæk IF
Vapnagård FK
Nødebo IF
KBK Hillerød
Fredensborg B&I
Gilleleje FK
Tikøb IF
IS Skævinge Fodbold
