FC Helsingør is back on the training pitch, and during the winter break we have had to say goodbye to the following three players.
Jakob Johansson
Johansson joined the club back in October, after his cooperation with Fremad Amager ended. In his three months in Helsingør he managed to play seven matches and score two goals, which among other things secured us an important point in Aalborg with a fine free-kick goal. As the contract with FC Helsingør only ran until the end of 2023, he is now looking for new pastures. We thank him for his time in Helsingør and wish him all the best in his future career.
Hektor Eusebius Højbjerre-Thomsen
Hektor Eusebius, like Jakob Johansson, also came to Helsingør from Fremad Amager, where he signed a one-year contract with the club in the summer transfer window. After brief appearances at the start of the season and a full match in the cup victory over Dragør BK, he unfortunately fell ill, which has kept him away from the training pitch for a long period. Thus, the stay in Helsingør was not as expected, and the parties have therefore now agreed to end the collaboration. Hektor now has the opportunity to focus on getting back to football at his own pace, and we wish him all the best.
Mathias Bill
19-year-old Mathias Bill was last year offered a senior contract after fine performances on the club's youth teams, and he has since been around the first-team squad.
In the current season he has played two matches in the cup competition and has had two substitute appearances in the NordicBet League. In his first match he even added to the scoreline in a 3-1 defeat in Horsens, when he scored his first league goal at senior level after just a few minutes on the pitch.
FC Helsingør and Mathias Bill have now agreed to end the collaboration at the turn of the year, which gives Mathias the opportunity to seek new challenges elsewhere and continue his positive development.
It is always nice to be able to send our young players on with lots of experience. We wish Mathias Bill good luck and look forward to seeing him succeed going forward.
